Joshua Tree Training Weekend

February 27 through March 1

This is not a seminar in a conference room.
This is a weekend in the desert, living with your dog, learning together, and slowing everything down.

What This Weekend Is About

We’ll spend the weekend training in real environments, not artificial setups. You’ll learn how to handle a leash with intention, how to use markers clearly, how to build play that actually matters to your dog, and how to move together on pack hikes in a calm, connected way.

More than anything, this weekend is about learning how to fulfill your dog. Not just through commands, but through shared experiences, movement, and time outside.

Training does not happen in isolation. It happens in relationship. And relationships grow best when we slow down and step out of our normal routines.

Life at Camp

This is a car camping trip. You’ll need to be prepared to camp in your vehicle or a tent for the weekend. Food is included, but you should come ready for a simple, outdoor setup and the realities of desert camping.

There will be structured training sessions throughout the day, time on the trails with the dogs, shared meals, and plenty of space to connect with other people who care deeply about their dogs and the work they’re doing with them.

One dog per person so each dog gets the attention and clarity they need.

Who This Is For

This weekend is for people who want to learn by doing.
For trainers who want to deepen their handling and timing.
For dog owners who want a better relationship, not just better obedience.

You don’t need a perfect dog. You don’t need advanced skills. You just need to be open, present, and willing to learn alongside your dog.

Why Joshua Tree?

Nature has a way of stripping things back to what actually matters.
Out here, dogs can move, decompress, and show us who they really are.
It’s the perfect environment to learn how to guide, support, and communicate with clarity.

This weekend isn’t about pushing dogs harder.
It’s about understanding them better.

This trip is limited to 5 spots.

What’s included:

  • All Meals

  • 2 Night Stay in Joshua Tree

  • Daily Training Sessions with Meg

  • Everyday Slip Leash

  • Meg’s Training Guide

Investment: $795 (payments available)
